Frequently asked questions

What to expect from a pre-owned car

You're buying a pre-owned car, not a new one. Many of our vehicles have over 100,000 miles and show normal wear, and like any used car they may need maintenance or repairs over time. That's why our prices are low. Test drive it, have it inspected, and ask us about optional extended coverage.

Many older or high-mileage cars show a minor accident on a history report, and Carfax and AutoCheck don't always agree. Ask us for the report.

Even experienced mechanics can't predict every issue on a used car, which is why we encourage an inspection and offer optional extended coverage.

What condition are your cars in?

Our vehicles are pre-owned trade-ins, and many have over 100,000 miles. Normal wear is expected. All vehicles are sold AS IS unless you purchase an optional extended service contract. We encourage a test drive and an independent inspection.

Will a pre-owned car show some wear?

Every car here is pre-owned. Normal wear — small chips, light scratches, some interior use — is normal for a used car and is already reflected in our price. We show real photos, and you're welcome to inspect or bring your mechanic.

Do your cars come with a warranty?

Vehicles are sold AS IS unless you purchase an optional extended service contract. Extended coverage is offered through a third-party provider, with several plans available, including powertrain coverage. Ask us for plan details and pricing.

Why does one history report show an accident and another doesn't?

Many pre-owned cars, especially older ones or those with over 100,000 miles, have a minor accident on record. History companies like Carfax and AutoCheck collect data from different sources, so one report may list an incident that another doesn't. Ask us for the report on any car, look at both if you like, and have the car inspected so you know its real condition.

Can you put on new tires or do repairs before I buy?

We price our cars as low as possible. Want new tires, repairs or add-ons before you buy? We're happy to quote them, and they're added to the price, so you choose only what you want.

Why don't you replace tires or the windshield before selling?

Because it would raise the price for everyone. On today's cars, even a windshield can be costly, since many include cameras and sensors, and a set of tires adds up fast. We keep our margins thin, and sometimes sell cars close to cost to move them quickly, much like an auction. That's how we keep prices low. If you'd like any work done, we'll quote it upfront.

How does financing work?

Apply online in minutes. Multiple lenders compete for your loan, and good credit gets our most competitive rates.*

What else do lenders look at besides my credit score?

Lenders also look at your income, your other monthly payments and how many car loans you already have. Even with good credit, a loan can be declined if your income doesn't comfortably cover all your payments. For example, if you already have two car payments, many lenders won't approve a third unless your income clearly supports it. A larger down payment, a trade-in or paying off an existing loan can help.

Does pre-qualifying affect my credit?

No. Our pre-qualify form is self-reported and does not pull your credit. A credit check happens only later, with your permission, when you complete a full credit application.

Can I use my own bank or credit union, or pay cash?

Yes. Bring your own loan or pay cash — you get the same fair, honest price.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes — Carolina, Virginia and Ximena help you in English or Spanish.

Is the live video assistant a real person?

No — it's an AI video assistant that answers general questions. For anything about your deal, Carolina, Virginia or Ximena will help you personally.

Can I get 60 or 72 months on a car with over 100,000 miles?

Usually not. Most banks limit cars and trucks over 100,000 miles to 48 months or less unless your credit is excellent, so our estimator uses 48 months for those vehicles. Final terms depend on lender approval.

*Subject to credit approval. Terms vary by lender. All financing subject to lender approval.
